I did use the help files for transparency, transparency editor, etc - it was quite confusing and gave advice like (and I paraphrase), "just do what you do when you change gradients, but do it with the transparency tool."
#TOOLS TO MAKE GRAPHICS TRANSPARENT IN GRAPHICCONVERTER HOW TO#
I am sure setting transparency is probably an easy thing to do in Affinity Publisher, but I just can't figure out how to do this. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of GraphicConverter. GraphicConverter alternatives are mainly Image Editors but may also be Photo Editors or Image Converters. in pictureclick the color you want make transparent. Other interesting Windows alternatives to GraphicConverter are Glimpse Image Editor, LazPaint, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Fotor. Is there a simple way to do this in Affinity Publisher? I tried the Transparency editor but that seem to do absolutely nothing other than change colors shading when I drag the tool handle around. Click here Picture Tools> Change Color> Set Transparent Color.

In MS Publisher (PC), MS Word (PC/Mac), MS Powerpoint (PC/Mac), and even in a similar way in Graphic Converter (Mac), there is an ability to make one color in an image become the designated transparent color (i.e., select the color white as the transparent color in your image - just by clicking on it - and everything white become transparent you can then see whatever is behind the formerly white areas of your image).
